Loopu is a student marketplace where users can buy or sell items safely and easily.
Yes, signing up is completely free.
Anyone over 18 years old with a valid Fordham email address can create an account and start using Loopu.
For Buyers
Browse listings using our filters bar if needed, and click “Buy Now” or “Make an Offer” when you’re ready.
We use Stripe as our secure payment providers. Funds are held until the item is confirmed delivered.
If you changed your mind and decided not to pick up the item, just don’t confirm the transaction and the money will be refunded after 14 days from the payment.
We refund only the value of the item. The platform and payment processing fees are not refundable.
Stripe charges 2.9% + 30 cents for each payment, our platform takes extra 1%.
For Sellers
Click “Create Listing,” add images, detailed descriptions, and set your price. That’s it!
We charge a 10% commission on successful sales. No listing fees for basic users.
You’ll receive payment up to two days after the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
